Overview of Haemato-Oncology Centres (HOCs) and Children’s Cancer Centres (ChCCs) now available on-line.

In January 2009, the interactive map of comprehensive cancer care was enriched with dots representing Haemato-Oncology Centres and Children's Cancer Centres.

Highly specialised Haemato-Oncology Centres (HOCs) and Children's Cancer Centres (ChCCs) closely cooperate with Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs) or form an integral part of them. With regard to a much lower number of patients who need to be treated in highly specialised HOCs or ChCCs, the number of these healthcare facilities is significantly lower than the number of CCCs.
